Cantonese September 2026

Listeners can now hear your service in Cantonese.

Turn on Cantonese in Settings and your listeners can pick 廣東話 on the listener page. They hear the service spoken in Cantonese and read along in Traditional characters. Anyone who reads Chinese can also switch their captions to Traditional.

  • NewCantonese audio. Settings → Voices → Voiced language now lists Cantonese / 廣東話. Once it’s on, a listener who picks 廣東話 hears the service in Cantonese, with captions in Traditional characters.
  • NewFour Cantonese voices. Two female and two male. Pick the one that reads to your listeners in Settings → Voices.
  • NewTraditional Chinese captions. Listeners can pick 繁體中文 next to 中文 to read captions in Traditional characters. They match the Bible verse cards, which were already Traditional, and the listener page remembers the choice.

Your AV desk

Run it from the desk you already use.

Pause captions, switch interpreter mode, push a verse, or change a screen’s language from a Stream Deck, a ProPresenter macro, or your own site — with API keys you create yourself and can revoke any time. Spanish now speaks with a Mexico voice by default, and every voice tells you its region.

  • NewAPI keys. Settings → API keys gives your team keys with only the permissions you pick — read state, captions, interpreter mode, verses, screens — and shows every action taken with them.
  • NewStream Deck and Companion buttons. Add the VoxLive connection in Companion, paste a key, and captions, interpreter mode, verses, and screen languages become buttons with live feedback.
  • NewVoices by region. Settings → Voices now says “Spanish (Mexico)” or “Spanish (Spain)” next to each voice, and Spanish speaks with the Mexico voice unless you pick another.
  • ImprovedListener requests reach every dashboard. When a listener taps “Let the church know” about a language or spoken audio, you see it whether you broadcast from the studio or from a livestream.
  • ImprovedOne notice, not one per switch. A listener flipping between a voiced language and a captions-only one sees the “no spoken audio” notice once, then a brief reminder.

Your website

Your website can show you're live.

One line pasted into your church website puts the "Follow our services live in your language" button on it — and the button lights up by itself while you're broadcasting. Plus: the spoken translation keeps pace with the preacher better.

  • NewLive badge for your website. Copy one line from the Share tab, paste it into any page — the button glows with a pulsing red dot whenever you're live, and visitors land straight on your listener page.
  • NewReady-made website snippets. A styled button and a plain link, pre-filled with your church's listener address — they work on every site builder.
  • ImprovedSpoken translation keeps up better. Translated speech finishes each phrase sooner, so the voice in your listeners' ears drifts less behind the preacher during fast passages.

YouTube

YouTube, connected in two clicks.

VoxLive is now a Google-verified app. Connecting your church's YouTube channel for restreaming is a clean, standard authorization — and your channel always stays under your control.

  • NewGoogle-verified connection. Authorize your YouTube channel through Google's standard consent screen — two clicks and you're connected.
  • ImprovedConnect once and VoxLive creates the dedicated ingest endpoint and handles the broadcast setup for you.

Flyers

Share flyers, redesigned.

The Share tab's flyers got a full redesign — your church name, your real languages by name, and a scannable code, in five print and screen formats with a new dark version for projectors.

  • NewDark version. Every flyer now comes in light and dark — the dark one is built for slide loops and screens in dim rooms.
  • ImprovedYour languages, spelled out. Flyers show each language in its own script — Español, Русский, Українська — instead of flag icons.
  • ImprovedAll five formats redesigned end to end — printable handout, slide deck, lobby TV, social square, and Stories — and the downloaded file now matches the preview exactly.

Captions

Captions that keep up — and catch you up.

Live captions arrive word by word and settle in place, and anyone who opens the link after the service starts sees everything said so far, already there.

  • NewJoin-late replay. Open the listener link mid-service and the captions so far are waiting for you.
  • ImprovedCaptions reveal word by word and harden in place; the whole service stays scrollable instead of scrolling away.
  • FixedCaption lines no longer jump when a finalized phrase lands.
