Terms of Service.

Last updated · May 29, 2026

These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a binding agreement between you and VoxLive LLC, a Texas limited liability company ("VoxLive," "we," "us," or "our"), governing your use of the VoxLive platform and related services (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy and Refund Policy. If you don't agree, don't use the Service.

1. The Service

VoxLive is a browser-based live translation and captioning platform for churches and similar organizations. It provides a studio broadcaster page, a multilingual listener page, and an optional pulpit mic feed. Specific features depend on the plan you subscribe to; see the pricing page for details.

2. Accounts

You must register an account to use the Service. You agree to:

You must be at least 18 years old, or have the permission of a parent/guardian who agrees to these Terms on your behalf. We reserve the right to refuse service, close accounts, or cancel registrations at our sole discretion, subject to the Refund Policy.

3. Acceptable use

You may not use the Service to:

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate this section, with or without notice depending on severity.

4. Subscriptions, billing, and cancellation

Paid plans are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis. By subscribing, you authorize us (through our payment processor, Stripe) to charge your payment method on the recurring schedule you selected.

5. Usage limits

Each plan includes a monthly cap on broadcast hours, target languages, and listeners (see pricing). Exceeding your cap does not interrupt an active service — ongoing broadcasts complete — but starting a new broadcast while over quota requires an upgrade. Broadcast time is measured from when a listener joins a live session to when the session ends or the broadcaster disconnects.

6. Content you transmit

You retain all rights to the audio, captions, translations, and other content you broadcast through the Service ("Your Content"). By using the Service, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide license to process Your Content solely to provide the Service to you (transcribe, translate, stream to listeners, and log usage). We do not sell, share, or repurpose Your Content for any other purpose. See the Privacy Policy for specifics on what we retain and for how long.

7. Third-party services

The Service integrates with third-party providers to power payments, speech-to-text, translation, real-time audio delivery, and analytics. Use of the Service necessarily involves data passing through those providers under their own terms and privacy policies. We choose providers with solid security track records and act as the data controller for your information; providers act as data processors. Their outages or policy changes may affect the Service; we'll notify you of material changes that affect your plan.

8. Availability, accuracy, and "as-is" disclaimer

We work hard to keep the Service reliable but make no guarantee of uninterrupted availability. Service may be unavailable due to maintenance, third-party outages, network conditions, or events outside our control. We provide the Service "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

Captions and translations are generated automatically and may contain errors, omissions, or mistranslations. They are provided for convenience only, are not a verbatim or official record of any broadcast, and must not be relied upon where accuracy is critical — including legal, medical, financial, safety, or doctrinal matters. You are responsible for verifying any information before relying on it. We make no warranty as to the accuracy, completeness, or fitness of any caption or translation.

Nothing in this section limits rights you have under applicable consumer-protection law that cannot be excluded.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold VoxLive and its members, officers, employees, and agents harmless from any third-party claim arising out of Your Content, your violation of these Terms, or your misuse of the Service.

11. Termination

You may terminate your account at any time by canceling your subscription and deleting your account from settings. We may terminate or suspend accounts for violation of these Terms or our Acceptable Use rules, or if we discontinue the Service. On termination, access to the Service ends and your data is deleted per the Privacy Policy.

12. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms to reflect product, legal, or business changes. Material changes will be announced to active users by email at least 14 days before taking effect. Continued use after a change means acceptance. If you don't accept the change, you may cancel your subscription before it takes effect.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, USA, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute that cannot be resolved informally will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Texas, USA, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts.

Nothing in this section removes rights you may have under mandatory local consumer-protection law.

14. Entire agreement

These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and Refund Policy, are the entire agreement between you and VoxLive regarding the Service. If any provision is found unenforceable, the rest remains in effect.
